Wanting Spencer (B&S Series #2.5) Page 8
“Yeah—next time,” she said with a heavy sigh.
There wouldn’t be a next time. Seattle was done, and Spencer was never going to be out of my sight if I could help it.
“I’m going to pick you up from work from now on,” I said, setting my beer down after taking a sip.
“This is just ridiculous. I have no idea why he is stalking me. It’s not like I’m famous or something. I barely talked to the guy. All we did was dance in Vegas. I just… I just don’t get it,” she said.
“Yeah, I have no idea, but I will be on the lookout during the day for a guy hanging around outside, and I will pick you up every day from work,” I said firmly.
I was already looking for this motherfucker, but now that we knew he drove a red Honda, I would search the parking lot hourly for it.
“Great, I don’t even get to drive my new car to work,” she pouted.
“Spence, it’s better to be safe than sorry,” Ryan said, patting her hand.
“Babe, let’s just do it for a few weeks and see what happens,” I said.
“Why not hire a security guard?” Becca asked, looking from me to Jason.
“It’s not a bad idea,” Jason agreed.
Jason and I were supposed to have already hired someone, but with everything that we were doing to prepare for the Seattle opening, we never had a chance to hire someone and we did all the hiring together.
“It would also be good in case he’s after women in general,” Becca said.
“I’ll start looking on Wednesday when we get back, but I’m still picking you up from work until we do,” I said to Spencer.
“Okay.” She sighed.
*~*~*
The six of us strolled into the ballroom of the hotel we were staying in the following night for New Year’s Eve. There were at least one hundred people already inside when we arrived. Some were in line for the buffet, some waiting at a few of the open bars, and others were already out on the dance floor.
“Time to go dance,” Ryan said, tugging on Max’s arm after she was done eating.
“I’m not drunk enough, yet,” Max said, not budging from his seat.
“Spencer?” Ryan said, turning to her with both hands on her hips.
“Fine, let’s go. Becca?”
“Yeah, you ladies go dance, and we’ll watch,” Jason said.
“Yep, let’s go,” Becca said, downing the rest of her champagne.
Spencer kissed me softly on the lips and turned to walk towards the dance floor. I watched her, remembering how I watched her in Vegas. She was so fucking beautiful, and I was one lucky dude to have found her.
I’m not sure how many songs played, but Spencer motioned with her finger for me to join them. It was getting close to midnight, and the guys and I decided that it was time to go dance with our girls.
Just like Vegas, I positioned my hips with Spencer’s. Our eyes locked as Usher’s song Yeah! played, our bodies swaying to the beat and my hands wrapping around her waist. She instantly reached up and circled her arms around my neck, running her hands through my hair.
I leaned down, singing the part of the song I knew in her ear, “I’m not going to stop until I get you in your birthday suit.”
She threw her head back as she laughed, and I laughed as well and then kissed her lips. Our bodies moved with the music as other people danced around us, and I felt joy in my heart. If someone had told me a year ago that I would be ready to propose to the love of my life, I would have told them that they were fucking crazy. But as I looked into Spencer’s eyes, I knew she was the girl that I had always wanted.
Yeah! ended, and the DJ started to play Down on Me by Jeremih and 50 Cent. Spencer’s eyes jerked up at me, and I smiled. This was our song. The song that gave me the courage to dance with her for the first time. The song that I played over and over, thinking about my brunette hottie.
“This is my favorite song,” I said in her ear.
“Mine too.” She smiled.
I smiled and kissed her. We would always have this song.
As soon as Jeremih began rapping, I spun her around, just like the first time we had danced to this song. She rubbed her ass into my crotch. Instantly, my erection came to life at the feel of her sweet ass rubbing on him. I brushed her hair to the side and kissed the top of her shoulder, just like Vegas. This time, I wouldn’t have to run up to my room to jerk off. I was going to take her back to my room and fuck her, just like I wanted to do in Vegas.
“This time, I’m taking you with me so you can take care of my hard on.”
Spencer continued to rub her ass into me. I wanted her to rub harder. I loved the way her ass fit perfectly against me, so I reached around, pushing her against me.
After a few sways, she turned around in my arms, our bodies pressed tightly together, still swaying to the beat. She grabbed my hand, slipping it between us, and placed it down between her legs, her other hand wrapping around my neck. Looking up into my eyes, she nodded. A smile spread across my face as I took a small step back and started to pull up the front of her short dress. I knew I could make her come with just my leg, but right now I wanted to feel how wet this kind of dancing made her.
Slowly I slipped my hand down between our bodies and then upwards under her dress. I expected to feel the cotton of her panties, but my fingers met smooth flesh. Usually my fingers would comb through her pubic hair on the way to her swollen flesh, but this time, it was smooth and hair free.
“You’re not wearing underwear?” I asked in her ear. She shook her head. “I think you might just kill me before the New Year.”
Our eyes locked as my finger slipped inside and my thumb began to circle my clit. I didn’t care if people saw, there was no turning back. I loved the feel of her hairless pussy, and I was determined to make her cum again while dancing.
I leaned down, kissing her. I added another finger, working it in and out of her wetness. She reached down, rubbing my hard cock beneath my black trousers with her hand, causing me to groan against my mouth at the feel of her hand touching me again. My fingers pumped, my thumb circled, and I squeezed her ass with my free hand until I felt her explode around my fingers, her body going lax in my arms.
“We’re leaving now!” I said as soon as she could stand on her own again.
She nodded just as the DJ announced that the countdown to the New Year would be in five minutes.
“Oh, but we have to stay now,” she said.
“Shit! Fine, but after the countdown, we’re calling it a night and going up to our room.”
“Okay,” she said, leaning up to kiss me.
“You’re supposed to wait till midnight,” I heard Ryan say.
“What?” Spencer yelled at her.
“To kiss, you have like four minutes left.”
“Oh.”
I wondered if Ryan had seen our show. She knew about Vegas, and if she did, she probably would never play Down on Me with us around.
A waiter came up with a tray of champagne. We each took a glass and stood in a huddle, waiting for the ball to drop. I wrapped my arm around Spencer, and she leaned into my chest, resting her head against me as we slowly swayed to the last song, One Republic’s Good Life.
A giant screen by the DJ booth displayed Times Square as the ball began to make its descent. We stood there, watching the ball and listening to Ryan Seacrest as he explained that it had been one hundred and eight years ago when the first ball dropped. Everyone started counting when the timer reached the ten second mark.
“Ten… nine… eight… seven… six… five… four… three… two… one… Happy New Year!”
Auld Lang Syne played as we kissed and then clinked our glasses and toasted to the New Year. I took a sip of the champagne, smelling Spencer’s juices on my hand when it got close to my nose as I raised the glass. I hoped no one was in the elevators, because I was about to make Spencer come with my fingers again.
CHAPTER THIRTEEN
The next few months were a whirlwind. I ac
cepted an offer on my condo, and then Spencer and I went house hunting and found a house that we bought. Spencer wanted to get a dog now that we had a house, and I couldn’t wait to extend our family. I wasn’t sure how I was going to propose to Spencer, either. Nothing felt right, yet.
She thought that I was proposing on Valentine’s Day. The look on her face when she saw the black velvet box put a smile on my face. I knew she wanted to marry me, but I couldn’t propose on the most cliché day of the year.
I thought about doing it when we got the keys to our new house, but instead my dick beat me to the punch, and I fucked her on our kitchen counter, so I couldn’t have done it then, either.
Spencer was spending a lot of time with Ryan, planning her wedding. I knew that if I took away from Ryan’s limelight, she would have my balls, even if it was just proposing to her best friend. I’d come to learn that it’s Ryan’s way or the highway, so I put off asking Spencer until after Ryan’s wedding. I just didn’t know how or when.
The day of Max and Ryan’s bachelor and bachelorette parties, the boys and I started it off by doing a little mountain biking. I loved being a guy. Spencer planned a hotel sleepover for Ryan and all her friends—that I hoped turned into a naked pillow fight that they would videotape—while the guys went to Max’s to hang out.
We didn’t need all the decorations that Spencer had to buy. We didn’t need a caterer. We didn’t need a cake in the shape of tits—okay, maybe I could live with that one. We just needed burgers, beer, baseball, and poker.
We started the night off by grilling burgers, throwing back a few beers and watching the Giants kick ass. Instead of poker, we decided to hit up a gentleman’s club called The Gold Club. I’d told Spencer that we weren’t going to a strip club, but I didn’t think she would care. I wasn’t going to get a lap dance or anything; I was just going along with the boys and doing what men did for bachelor parties.
Who wants to sit around their house acting like it was just a normal Saturday? It was Max’s last night of freedom, and the girls didn’t need to know about it.
“Ah,” Jason said, running his hand on his neck. “I kinda hired a stripper to come here.”
“Really?” I asked.
“Yeah…”
“Well, cancel her. No big deal.”
Jason grabbed his phone from his jean pocket and made the call. Leave it to Jason. I guess this is what I have to look forward to; he jumps at every chance there is to see titties that aren’t his wife’s. He’s never cheated on her—I would beat the shit out of him if he did—but I get it. There is just something about seeing new ones.
We took my and Joe’s cars down to the club, and the six of us finally made it inside after waiting in line to get in. We should have made reservations, but couldn’t, given that it had been a spontaneous decision.
“Are you ready for some tits and ass?” Joe, Max’s best man asked.
“Of course!”
We sat near the stage, taking a booth and two chairs that were placed around small round tables. Once the dancers knew it was a bachelor party, they were on us like a crack whore looking for their next fix. Don’t get me wrong, these ladies were classy compared to some I’ve seen, especially in Vegas, but it’s like they could smell the money in our back pockets.
I sat in one of the chairs, Jason in the other, wanting no part of spending my money on a dance that I knew my girl would do anytime I asked. I didn’t need a dance that would leave me horny as fuck and my dick aching for the next few hours until I could fuck Spencer. But of course, it was nice to watch the entertainment.
“Who’s the lucky guy?” a blonde asked.
We all pointed to Max who sat in the middle of the booth. She sat on his lap, her tits right under his chin and scrap for panties covering her pussy that sat on his thigh.
Two more girls came over, one sitting on Joe, the other on Max’s friend, Eric. It looked like a buffet bar. All guys were sitting in the booth with women on their laps. Tom, Max’s other friend, sat on the edge, waiting for his own stripper; Jason and I just watched from the seats we were in.
More ladies came over, and Jason and I declined, but Tom took them up on the offer right away. Now the buffet was complete. I’m not gonna lie; my dick was becoming uncomfortable in my pants with all the tits sitting in front of me and all the ass grinding.
“Do you want one?” Jason asked me.
“Nah, you?”
“Becca would castrate me.”
“True,” I said, laughing.
Becca and Spencer were alike in the sense that they didn’t care if we looked, we just couldn’t touch. I didn’t want to touch anyway. I wasn’t sure how Ryan would react if she knew that her future husband was sticking dollar bills in the blonde’s G-string as she gave him a lap dance. It was Bro Code not to tell, and I wouldn’t. I wasn’t even going to tell Spencer we were here, because she would probably tell Ryan, then she would overreact, and shit would hit the fan.
“I gotta piss,” I said, getting out of my seat.
I took out my phone on the way to the bathroom and saw that I had a text from Spencer:
Spencer: Having fun?
Me: Yeah, you?
After doing my business, I made my way back to the tits and ass show. Spencer hadn’t replied to my text, but she was the host, and I figured she was busy. As I got closer to where we were sitting, I noticed that someone was in my chair. I looked, and everyone else was still where I had left them. Jason saw me and got up, walking over to me.
“So, apparently Spencer’s ex is here,” he said.
“Travis?” I asked, looking at the back of his head.
“Yeah. He showed up, bitching and moaning about not being invited.”
“How did he know we were here?”
“He’s with a few guys, over there,” Jason pointed.
“Well, he needs to get out of my fucking seat,” I said, walking towards him.
As I walked over, I wondered if he knew I was here. I didn’t know how long his group had been here, but he needed to get the fuck out of my seat.
“Dude, you’re in my seat,” I said.
He looked up at me, clearly knowing it was my seat. “Pull up another one.”
“Look, dude, you weren’t invited to this party for a reason, so just leave,” I said.
“Max is my friend and co-worker,” he said, standing.
We were a few feet apart, both not backing down.
“Was. He was your friend until you fucked over his girl’s best friend.”
I was solely focused on this asshole, but felt Jason standing behind me and four sets of eyes on me instead of on the tits in front of them.
“You don’t know what you’re talking about,” Travis said, taking a step towards me.
I smiled. I would love nothing more than to knock this motherfucker out. He deserved a good punch in the face for hurting Spencer.
“Really? You think I don’t? I sleep with Ryan’s best friend every night. You don’t think I know what you did?”
“This has nothing to do with Spencer.”
“It has everything to do with Spencer. You and Max are co-workers, not friends,” I said, taking a step towards Travis.
“Look man, just leave,” Jason said.
“Who the fuck are you?” Travis asked.
“It doesn’t matter who he is. You’re not welcome. If you were, you would’ve been invited,” I said.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a bouncer watching us. I wasn’t going to throw the first punch, but if I had to, I would get us kicked out because this asshole deserved it.
“I feel sorry for you. Spencer’s lousy in bed. It’s only a matter of time before you get tired of missionary,” Travis said.
I laughed. I laughed so hard that I was doubled over. I couldn’t imagine Spencer only doing missionary.
“Oh my God, that’s so funny,” I said, wiping a tear from my eye after I stopped laughing. Travis was staring at me—everyone was. “Spencer’s not th
e problem. Obviously you suck in bed, because my girl is more adventurous than you know.”
“I highly doubt that,” Travis said as he moved to lunge at me, but somehow Max grabbed him. I didn’t know when he stood, but he did and managed to hold Travis back. I wished he hadn’t. I seriously wanted to break this guy’s nose.
“Travis, I think it’s time you go back to your friends before we all get kicked out,” Max said. “This is my bachelor party, and I don’t want your drunk ass ruining it.”
“Whatever,” Travis said, shaking Max’s hand off his arm
We watched him return to his friends. I nodded at the bouncer, telling him everything was okay, and took my seat. I looked at my phone, but Spencer still hadn’t texted me back.
“Hey, Becca’s called me like five times in the last two minutes. I need to step out and call her back,” I said.
“She called you?” Jason asked.
“Yeah. Let me go find out why,” I said, walking to the front doors.
I stepped out and listened to Becca’s first voicemail message.
“Brandon, I’m trying not freak out here, but Spencer hasn’t come back from getting ice. She left about thirty minutes ago.”
What the fuck?
I dialed Becca, not bothering to listen to the rest of her messages.
“Brandon,” Becca said, answering her phone. “Spencer’s missing.”
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“She went to get ice and never came back. We’ve searched everywhere. Her car is still here, but we can’t find her.”
“Hold on,” I said and opened the Find Friends app.
Spencer didn’t know, but since she had a stalker, I programmed her phone so I could know where she was if anything happened to her. I didn’t do it to see where she was all the time. She was with me mostly except when she was at work. I just wanted her to stay safe after the Christy ordeal and now she was missing.
When I opened the app, it said she was headed down towards San Jose.
I returned the phone back to my ear. “What the fuck? She’s on the 101 towards San Jose. Are you guys near San Jose?”
